Health and safety legal requirements don't go away in tough economic times. CME and IAPA can help lower the cost of compliance.
CME together with IAPA offers effective training to meet WSIB’s certification standards (Parts 1 and 2). Under the Occupational Health and Safety Act, workplaces with 20 or more employees are required to have a Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC). Since 1993 it has been specified that one worker member and one management member of the JHSC must be trained in the fundamentals of health and safety (Part 1). Part 2 is workplace specific training which was mandated December 31, 2001.
