CME Director Helmut Eppich of Ebco Industries honours Richmond’s multicultural wealth during the Olympics
 
Cultural and faith-based artifacts collected “from far and wide” by Helmut Eppich of Ebco Industries of Richmond honours the cultures and countries of origin of its employees over the past 53 years. Ebco’s corporate value of honouring its employees’ cultures exemplifies Richmond’s multicultural wealth and reflects the Olympic spirit “to build a peaceful and better world”. The artifacts are on display indoors at the Richmond Cultural Centre.

Buy American deal steps forward, fight must go on

The Canadian government officially announced that Canada and the US have reached an agreement on Buy American. This is a positive announcement that is the result of extensive work that CME, CME members and allied associations in the US and Canada have been doing for 13 months. However, CME says the fight against Buy American restrictions must continue.
